Techbros Introduces TechbrosFi Mobile Private Network Technology
The application of industry 4.0 can create new job opportunities. For example, there are more startup companies popping up in the country, some of them are absorb a large number of workers. If the disparity in internet access is not addressed immediately, the economic disparity between regions could widen. In fact, internet access and the digital economy are one of the drivers of equitable distribution of welfare in the country.
Techbros Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Yudhi Rahadian said, “Mobile Private network technology provides ultra-secure network solutions that can support businesses moving into Industry 4.0. mission critical systems and applications in airports, factories, warehouses or ports demand secure and reliable connectivity that is better served by 4G/5G than Wi-Fi”.
That is why Yudhi, through Techbros startup, developed the TechbrosFI private network to distribute internet access evenly. This innovation is supported by OpenRAN technology.

Yudhi – CEO Techbros
Yudhi Rahadian is a Technopreneur located in Germany, currently he has a startup called Techbros, which was founded in 2017, Yudhi has worked in total in 16 countries, from Asia to Africa, as a consultant in the telecommunications sector.
Since 2013, he decided to stay in Germany, and have a career there until finally creating his own startup in the field of Technology, currently Techbros has branches in Romania and Indonesia, with Headquarters in Germany.
TechbrosFI enables the Industry to build 4G LTE and 5G networks at a low cost, private, remote, reliable and secure. This is done using the TechbrosFI hardware and software package.
“With a private network, now the industry can have its own internet network. Without having to think about large investments, TechbrosFI offers “freedom of innovation” because its technology can use the latest technology from 5G,” said Yudhi
Yudhi assessed that the existence of TechbrosFi technology can be implemented in all sectors, especially with the 5G network, which can be used to utilize Metaverse technology, which requires very low latency for its application.
TechbrosFi also ensures fast response to network loads in diverse industries. This is the key for certain industrial use cases such as vehicle control and navigation. This is also important for factories-to reduce downtime on the production line and to ensure reliable connection of a high number and density of sensors, machines, and robots.
Techbros’ private network technology will be implemented in several industries, such as mining, plantations and factories
One of them is the development of the economic potential of Pollung Subdistrict, Humbang Hasundutan, which will build the first 4G Private network in Indonesia.
Techbros is collaborating with the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Kemenko Kemaritiman) to optimize the potential of resources in the region, namely in the agriculture and fisheries sectors.
In this area, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs is developing a smart agriculture and smart farming ecosystem using TechbrosFi from Techbros
Techbros brings private network technology solutions to the sub-district. This technology serves to support the internet network.
“Technology such as AI, big data, or data science will not be able to function optimally if an area is not supported by adequate internet. Therefore, we ‘married’ Techbros.FI, a private network, and Eagle AI in a pilot project in Pollung District, “said Yudhi.
The pilot project was quite successful. Yudhi explained, Elang AI had helped farmers Humbang Hasundutan in determining the planting and harvesting period, types of potential plants, and the amount of fertilizer used.
Apart from North Sumatra, Techbros also reaches other rural areas in eastern Indonesia, namely in East Kalimantan.
More efficient
Yudhi said that the implementation of the private network is more efficient than other networks because it does not require high investment costs to build BTS towers. In terms of components and supporting devices, private networks are also more affordable with the principle of open source.
The Open RAN technology that is carried also adopts the concept of an open interface. People can use a combination of radio devices, such as radio units and base bands, without being tied to one specific brand.
Open RAN also offers standardized open technology and a more competitive cost structure. This provides an opportunity for operators to expand their network more broadly.
“That way, private network users have more options in choosing a vendor that can provide the best business case. (For operators) it can streamline capital expenditure (capex) and operational expenditure (opex) costs,” said Yudhi.
From a security perspective, private networks are more secure than wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) networks with multiple layers of security.
Yudhi explained, TechbrosFi is a component that collaborates with other technologies such as OpenRAN, OpenRAN itself was brought by Telecom Infra Project to Indonesia supported by Telkom University and opened a TIP Community lab in Bandung, for TechbrosFi trials.
The Telecom Infra Project is a global community of companies and organizations working together to accelerate the development and deployment of open, disaggregated and standards-based technology solutions that deliver the high-quality connectivity the world needs – now and for decades to come.
Telkom University TIP Community Lab opened in Q3 2020. This Community Lab will allow participants to evaluate and adopt solutions developed by the TIP Project Group, and provide new results and requirements back to the TIP community for further development.
